Spring has arrived and the grass is green.  By the time you receive this we will have closed on our building so there will be no more lawn mowing for the time being at least.  I would like to thank all those that helped at the sales and the clean up.  I will not mention the name’s as I am sure I would miss someone.  I have been very busy and the sick and have not been able to put in the time I should have.

 

We are now meeting in the basement of Messiah Lutheran Church on Cottage Grove Road.  We will be there until we find a more permanent location.  Our Trustees have some leads on locations and have checked out some options.  If anyone is interested in being part of this group please let me or one of the trustees know.

 

We are interested in your opinions as to our direction also.  Doric is your lodge and we need input.  We do not have any time table at this time but we want to do the right thing for the future of Doric.

 

In the beginning of June Grand Lodge will be held in Madison and everyone is welcome to attend.  If you have never had the opportunity you should give it a try.

 

Now that the property move is over I would like to start having a program of interest each month, if anyone has a hobby or some travel log they would like to share with us please contact me and we can set a date.  Stay in touch and let us know your needs.

 

In May we will be handing out our scholarships to students in Monona Grove and McFarland.  With your help we are able to give back to the youth in the community.
