By the time you read this article,
we will have seven new Master Masons and seen what Radio
was like in days gone by. If you were not present at
these events, you missed some special days with Doric
Lodge.
Our next meeting, April 4, 2006 will be the LAST in our
building. Starting with our April 18th meeting, we will
be at Messiah Lutheran Church at 5202 Cottage Grove Rd.
Before we move, we will need help from everyone. There
will be a garage sale at Doric on March 31st and April
1st, 7th & 8th. WE NEED YOUR HELP on those days as well
as before to get ready. After the sale, we need to clean
out and move the rest of our items before the closing
date, which is April 28th.
We are always interested in what you the members are
thinking. PLEASE write or call any of the officers and
let them know what direction you feel we should be
looking for the future of Doric Lodge.
It would be nice to see many of your faces on April 4th;
as a nice send off for our building and also the
opportunity to meet our new Masons. As always, please
let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
Member’s needs should be and are our # 1 concern. See
you in Lodge.

FROM THE TRUSTEES
Our Lodge has been sold with a
closing date of April 28. We have two storage lockers
from one of our members (Kent Olson). We will need a lot
of help cleaning our building. We are currently aware of
three lots available on Sprecher/Reiner Rds. This road
is expected to be improved to a four- lane road in the
future. It will give a good exposure to the public.
Sun Prairie Lodge is at a decision point as we have been
in the past. Should they put their money in approving
their Lodge or pool their assets into an Eastern Dane
Masonic Center? Sun Prairie Leadership is willing to
work with us. So Brothers, what should we be doing?
1) Try to build a new Lodge on our own?
2) Find a location to rent for a longer time?
3) Pool our resources with Sun Prairie?
Our money from the sale will be invested to achieve the
best return while still being somewhat liquid.
